The person who shares your interests might be sitting ten metres away.
You'd just never notice each other — at aura shows them to you. No account, no cloud. A match happens only when both of you wave.
Before a match: only “Someone nearby”. No name, no photo.
You walk right past each other.
at aura pings before you miss the moment.

Open the radar & wave
When a card lights up, you wave. If both wave, it's a match.
You already have something to talk about before you say hello.
The more specific the shared interest, the brighter the card glows. “Someone nearby” becomes someone the conversation starts with on its own.

Quick questions
What if my radar is empty at first?
Then you're the first one here. Your radar reaches as far as Bluetooth — roughly 10 to 30 metres. Bring a second person along and pick a shared interest: from then on your radar lights up. That's exactly what spreading the word is for — a class, an office, a club, a flatshare.
Does the app have to be open?
It has to be running — open or in the background. at aura never starts on its own: open the radar when you arrive — at the café, on the train, on campus. A small ritual worth keeping. You're off with the invisible switch or when you quit the app.
Can someone just see me or message me?
Before a match you appear only as “Someone nearby” with the shared interest — no name, no photo. Nobody can message you: a match happens only once both of you wave. As long as the app is running (including in the background), you're discoverable to matching people in range. You're truly off with the invisible switch — or when you quit the app.
Doesn't that constantly drain the battery?
at aura uses Bluetooth Low Energy — the same frugal technology that keeps a smartwatch connected for days. The app doesn't use GPS at all.
Is at aura available for Android?
Not yet — at aura is currently available for iPhone (iOS 17 or later).
What does at aura cost?
Nothing. No ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases — and you don't pay with your data either: at aura doesn't collect any.
